Don’t miss our keynote – Advances in Stroke and Brain Injury Recovery: emerging technologies and treatments – by Dr. Jennifer Yao at 1:35 p.m.

Dr. Yao, Medical Site Lead at G.F. Strong Rehab Centre, will review current and emerging practices in the treatment of stroke and brain injuries, from the acute phase to rehabilitation. The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically increased the use of virtual health throughout the health care system, including rehabilitation. Dr. Yao will discuss how virtual health and other technologies are being used to deliver care and the impact this may have on recovery for people living with stroke and brain injury.
